Rated 5 out of 5 by JeeWiz from Handy Dandy Tool ! If you are stuck with space limitations in your toolbox and pockets, then this 3" size is a go to tool for most joint jobs. The convenient size and sturdy handle makes it easy for smaller female hands to handle easily on the seam tape and compound. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the stiff blade was in smoothing the joints easily. It's just the right size for the average job and keeps the cleaning to a minimum. I like keeping a ring in its handle for easy hanging from the ladder and/or apron pockets/loops saves valuable time from the dropping and retrieving incidents. Looking forward to the next "honey do" activity !

Rated 5 out of 5 by LemonTwist from Rust Free! The coating on this knife keeps it from rusting after use, which saves me the trouble of sanding the rust off before I can use it again. This sets it apart from most other similar knives. This stiff knife is perfect for initial application of joint compound, to be followed up with a flexible knife for smoothing. The handle is pretty grippy, even with wet hands, and has a hammer-end that can set drywall nails if needed. All in all- a great tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jennifer from Great multipurpose tool; Nice for scraping or being a simple putty knife. Nice and stiff; a great hammer end while the grip is nice on the hand; no slip. The titanium coating seems pretty secure; no signs of it coming off. Spreads the putty evenly. Scrapes up messes nice and quickly...in fact I prefer it for scraping with the stiffness than speading putty...I do like more flexibility for spreading putty. This is an awesome tool.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Chuck from Great For Scraping But Very Stiff First of all this stiff black is very stiff, pretty much no flex and I might want a bit of flex. Where this tool works best is in scraping stuff like spilled dried varnish or adhesives. The handle is very comfortable and easy to grip and the butt has a hammer type end for loose nails so that's good. I'd have liked just a bit of flex but it does say stiff on it in big bold letters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JohnZ from Great for Patching Walls My 10 year old son got mad and decided to kick in the wall. Got a patch and some putty to put things back together again. Does a great job of spreading putty evenly. I like the width. Feels good in the hand. While I didn't need to use it long, feels like it could be used for a while, comfortably. Has a hammer and if I needed to set drywall nails. Nonstick grip, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hoggiesan from Very nice Didn't realize the difference a nice handle would make. Very solid well built with a handle that fits into your hand at just about any angle you may need. Big difference between the old style slim handle and this one. Comfortable would help describe the handle. The "Non Stick Titanium" blade sturdy and easy to clean. This will last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EvaKen from Best for FYI small repair projects. This stiff knife is good for smoothing out small areas in walls to prepare for painting, for filling in small nail holes, etc. The stiff knife makes for a smoother repair. It works great for oil painting too. And the nonstick coating is great for easy cleanup!
