What is the use for the 'lip' on the lower arm of these shears? What functional purpose do they serve?

Asked by: vdod787
The lip at the end of the shears is used as a guide to direct where to cut when you are cutting.

I bought these snipers and I can’t find any details about the proper use of these snipers on your website or packaging! What can these be used on? What plants should be avoided? Can you use these on smaller palm trees or large birds of paradise?

Asked by: Holley74
This product is recommended to be used to cut flower stems and similar sized plant stems.
