That, along with the fact that it comes very sharp, means it cuts delicate meats and fish very easily, without any tearing. The handle is hard plastic with a softer rubbery overmold that gives it a solid grip even when wet. It's so sharp that it would have been nice to have a protective sheath/cover. I may have to make one. This knife seems to be worth the effort

The titanium blade can be sharpened to less of an angle than steel, which means a sharper blade. There is a slight brittleness which comes with the sharper angle. However, It has never posed a problem. Melon seeds sometimes make indentations on the blade, but I cut A LOT of melons. Regular honing and this could be your most reliable tool.

I love it for cutting big game meat and processing. It makes the process much faster and easier. The grip is nice and heavy duty so you have alot of control and precision.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tolson from Sharp and Non-Stick This knife cuts a variety of items with ease and nothing sticks to it. I was able to slice a meats, cheese and vegetables and it slices like a dream. The handle has excellent grip and it's ergonomic as well.
