well made very sharp cutting edge
received this item last week and as it happened I was wiring my daughter's home. This is the first time I used a pair of cutters with a spring in the middle. At first I thought the spring would get in the way but soon found out you didn't realize it was there. Cutters area good quality and a solid tool only thing I worry about is will the spring come loose and you lose it. I would add a replacement spring with the cutters just in case.

Strong and Easy to Use Wire Cutters
I bought these after realizing that I didn't actually have a good pair of wire cutters. I was always using my needle nose plyers which were just frustrating. What a difference this tool has made for me. They feel great in your hand and the cut is clean and precise. I highly recommend!

nice wire cutters
I am glad I added these wire cutters to the tool box they came in handy last week when I installed some ceiling fans, spring added is a very nice feature so you are no fooling with trying to open them when it comes to multiple cuts.

My Favorite Wire Cutters!
As a Floral Designer for 25 years these are my top choice for wire cutting tool! I love the spring action for quick repeated use and is easier on the hands! These are the only wire cutters I use, and I do use them regularly!

Great handle and sharp cutters
As mentioned the handle is comfortable and I have no complains about how sharp the pliers are, but the spring wears out kind of quickly. Maybe the wire isn't thick enough?

I need 3 springs for the yellow handle wire cutter Item No.20013. I am a florist and only use Clauss wire cutters but I’ve lost 3 springs out of the 4 pair I have. I will gladly purchase them. Can you help me?

How do I get the spring for this wire cutters
While we normally do not stock replacement springs and springs are not covered by the Clauss lifetime warranty, the U407 / 20013 Wire Stem Cutters are an exception.
