Use as trauma shears...flight nurse.
Use these shears on a daily/weekly basis for 2 years plus. I don't challenge the durability too harshly, but they've survived many a denim jeans, leather belts, leather jackets, and countless layers of anything natural or synthetic. Wish they could have a color variety because everyone I know bought a pair and it makes them easily pilfered. These aren't cheap shears and won't dull in a week. The price is fair considering I would have consumed 5-10 pairs of cheap chrome shears by now. If you work in a trauma bay, make sure you tie these things down because I've had to chase down many a resident for them. They're the best I've found thus far; and I've trashed dozens of shears.

Very Sharp
The Clauss 2.5" Paring Knife is a wonderful addition to my knife drawer. Many years ago I had a paring knife but it disappeared and I always meant to replace it. This new knife is perfect, especially if you have small hands. I find it very easy to control and it has kept its sharp edge for several weeks now. I use it mainly for peeling potatoes, but it is also good for cutting fat off of meat without losing any of the meat and for slicing cheese. This knife has a textured anti-bacterial treated handle which fits well in my hand and doesn't get slippery when it gets wet. I am very pleased to receive this item free in exchange for my honest review.

Awesome!!
I am still dealing with the after-effects of being bit by a cat a month ago. So, I wasn't able to 'test' them myself. However, my Better Half was willing to put them thru extensive testing!! He said that they were very sharp AND very smooth in cutting. He did laugh with he tried to use his left hand to 'cut more' and they were 'Right-handed scissors!!' (He is left-handed, but easily uses his right for many things.) He was cutting everything waiting for the 'fail'!! After an hour, I had to take them away bcuz he was running out of 'allowable' things to test on!! Geeez....Boys!!
They passed every test!! ill recommend them to everyone!!

Handy Dandy Tool !
If you are stuck with space limitations in your toolbox and pockets, then this 3" size is a go to tool for most joint jobs. The convenient size and sturdy handle makes it easy for smaller female hands to handle easily on the seam tape and compound.
I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the stiff blade was in smoothing the joints easily. It's just the right size for the average job and keeps the cleaning to a minimum. I like keeping a ring in its handle for easy hanging from the ladder and/or apron pockets/loops saves valuable time from the dropping and retrieving incidents.
Looking forward to the next "honey do" activity !

Excellent ergonomics and style
This feels real good in the hand, the angle between blade and handle is very good. The knife cuts well, but I usually like to put a better edge on a once than this came with. The blade has little scallops on the sides, to help keep items from sticking to the blade, which work well. The finish of the handle - though it is plastic, has a bit of a tacky feel to it,. This slightly sticky texture makes you feel confident when handling the knife and slicing harder items. Overall I really like the way this knife works, it feels good in the hand, it cuts with a predictable manner, the blade holds an edge, and the thing cleans up nicely... What else could you want?

Strong multi-purpose cutter
This is a strong multi-purpose cutter with comfortable handles that make it a breeze to use around the house for various tasks. The spring action makes it easier for me, as a female, to cut through heavier duty items with ease. I wasn't able to cut a super thick wire, but not sure if that was my strength or the snip blades - I wonder how much the snips are built to handle and where the breaking point is. The locking latch is a bit hard to close and takes some effort, but it does work and hold it shut. Overall, I would recommend this snip for general, light work around the house ... it has found a spot in my go-to tool bag.

Crafter's Dream!
I craft quiet a bit, as soon as I got the product and figured out how to use it, I automatically went into my craft space and started trying the cutter on various materials. (vinyl, paper, chipboard, velum) Can I say, I'm in love with this product for crafting. I used this besides a ruler and it was soo smooth and seamless in cutting without a ton of pressure placed. I also love love that the blade goes back into it's protective home and locks so after use I can just store upright with my other tools without having to worry about accidentally getting a cut. I 100% recommend to all crafters, it's amazing so far, as I'm not sure on the blade life but would buy no matter what..

Love the Handle
When I first pulled the knife out of the package, I was like this really isn't that sharp,how is it going to cut. Well,I've tested it on soft and medium bread crusts (no hard crust bread in household yet) it holds up against my other bread knife. I will have to see how it lasts long term in terms of the blade. However, I love the handle, it's a great handle to grip without hand fatigue from using and the antimicrobial benefits are a major plus. The knife fit perfectly in my wooden knife block set, however I would have to get a new knife block if I had too many more larger grip handled knives. I would recommend to anyone just due to the handle alone! I can't wait to utilize it more.
