Great pair Of shears
Highly impressed from the get go. Super sharp super comfortable and performs on heavy duty material. Has a box cutter built into the handle with a locking mechanism for safety. Would highly recommend for crafters and those are like.

These are amazing, They cut very well and I have had no issues with them at all.

Great Multiuse Shear With Usefull Carrying Case
These shears have been great when working around the house. It has been nice to add these to my tool belt with the included carrying case. The box cutter in the handle is a very cool and useful feature.

Pretty Good Shears
I wish I could have used these to open the package that they came in! These shears come in a very tough clear plastic package intended to be displayed hanging in a store. The package is basically invulnerable to anyone who doesn't already have a pair of large shears or at least a large knife.
As a pair of scissors, these shears work quite well. The handles are about as comfortable as any and the blades are sharp and well fitted.
But I am less enthusiastic about the other functions that they are supposed to provide. I didn't try the "bottle opener" because I couldn't find any bottles with an old-fashioned bottle cap anywhere in my house. The opening looks a little small for easy use - especially if you have already been sampling just about the only product that still comes in a capped bottle. Without any bottled beer to open, I'll just have to take their word for the bottle opener function.
I did have several opportunities to try the box cutter function - and it never did work effectively. The blade makes too shallow a cut to open a serious corrugated cardboard box. They do provide a lock to prevent the blade from being exposed when you don't intend to - but there is no lock to hold the blade open when you are trying to use it. The position of the "blade button" and the leverage of the mechanism do not let you keep the blade extended when you try to cut a box open, the box simply pushes the blade back into the handle unless you exert quite a bit of force on the blade button to hold the blade extended. The only thing I successfully cut with the "box cutter" blade was the tape along the seam between the two flaps on the top of a box.
The blades are detachable -- as I found when the shears fell apart when I tried to use the scissor blade to open a box after giving up on the box cutter. Once I realized that the blades were supposed to come apart that way, I found it easy to put them back together to use as shears or separate the blades to use as an individual blade.
The package also includes a "nylon carry pouch" - which arrives folded in half to fit in the back of the package. I can't imagine anyone actually using it. First you have to manage to get the pouch to lie flat, which takes about a week of keeping the pouch flattened either by placing something flat on top of it or by keeping the shears in the pouch continuously. If you try to use the pouch immediately after removing it from the package, you will need two hands to hold the pouch flat while your third hand inserts the shears. You CAN put the pouch on your belt - but it has a loop not a clip, so you have to thread your belt through the belt loop on the pouch. Still, the pouch might be useful IF you need the shears with you all the time AND they are the only tool you need to carry around.
These shears are covered by the Clauss LIFETIME WARRANTY, which sounds pretty good until you actually read it. "If your Clauss product fails to perform its intended use due to defects in materials or workmanship we will replace it regardless of age." Sounds pretty good... But keep reading... "Send the product in its original box..." That's right, the "Lifetime Warranty" lasts only as long as you keep the package that the shears came in.
Despite all the nit picking, I gave this product four stars because it does do a good job of its primary function as a large pair of scissors. I would not recommend this product at the MSRP of $15, but at an average street price of $10 they seem to be a decent value.
